Welcome to Inky Pleasures Art
I am an artist from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, creating unique artwork using acrylic ink, paint, and watercolors. My pieces are digitally enhanced to offer diverse colors and textures for various settings.

This is what an AI web page creator sounds like...
"After years of personal exploration, I am excited to share my passion for art with the world. I hope my creations resonate with you and bring joy to your spaces."
If you've ever met me you'll know I divent sound nowt like that! Haha!! This Hostinger website helper is incredible, but also a bit too professional sounding so I'll keep that shite to a minimum!
I'll start adding little buttons near my pictures then you can download a higher resolution copy (normally up to 10 mb) for printing a picture in a frame or a lower resolution (around 3 mb) for a screensaver, bookmarks, cards etc. The only thing to bear in mind is it will look brighter on a backlit screen than printed up, even if a giclee print. My pieces tend to be pretty dark.
Can I mention a local printer (up north!) in North Shields? I got a whole load of my work printed up by them at very reasonable prices. They're a local business and they're super professional. Here's their address -
RiverandCoast.co.uk
Digitalab Ltd, Unit 2 Cumberland Road, North Shiields, NE29 8RD.
We've got to support these local businesses or we'll lose them. However, I have used Vistaprint for producing business cards (when I was a gardener) and for making calendars and they were very good quality and reasonably priced. Hope that helps!
A note from myself...
Years of personal enjoyment have led me to wanting to share my artwork with the world. My website is currently a work in progress, but I would like it to be where anyone can click on a piece of artwork and download it for personal use like as a screensaver or printed out. It would be on a donation basis only - give as much or as little as you would like to.
I'm also not going to have adverts popping up on this website. I want it to be a safe haven from them intrusive pushy ads. Naebody likes them... I mean YouTube's become beyond a joke with holiday companies and cleaning products every time you click on something. It's a shame because it's one of the most useful resources we've ever had.
My best friend has got a website where he sells movie props - https://moviepropwarehouse.com check it out, it's really good. He's built a huge following doing what he loves for years. Right from the start he said "I'm not having adverts on my site"... he didn't want anything to distract from the websites' true purpose. So I'm doing the same - no adverts, no pop-ups, no affiliated links and no politics!! I'm not some influencer whose going to make much money from this. I just don't want to die and no one has ever seen my artwork so I'm just putting it out there for the next few years and we'll see what happens eh?
You might notice I've said 'give a donation' - this isn't due to being anti capitalist or anything like that. It's just when I was aiming at creating the website as a business the whole 'Print on Demand', 'Pay this for this' etc was sucking the fun out of the website and made me want to give it up!! The one thing I would like to do at some point in my life is to do a collection for someone like Artelier.com or to maybe have my work in hospitals or hotel rooms. For now though I'm content with uploading new pieces and just spreading the word about how enjoyable art can be and adding some tutorials (eventually!) to overcome the fear of the blank page for anyone who would like to create art themselves.
With best wishes for the New Year to come, many thanks for visiting my website,
Steve
